Making a difference, one party at a time!

Our group enjoys fun social events with the added benefit of supporting a new cause each month! What could be better than good times with other great philanthropically minded people? Some events will be in a public venue, some will be a house party. Have fun, and feel really good about it!

Events will vary from simply promoting awareness of a cause, to parties with donations for a cause (think along the lines of what you might spend for a cover charge at a club - a few bucks, ten bucks, or whatever your heart desires). Some more elaborate, major events may ask for a minimum cover charge which supports a worthy cause. Sometimes, a social event will include collecting unused items in your household to donate to someone in need, such as our "Cell-abration" (see under past events). Also, there will be opportunities for some volunteer work for those who love environmental conservation, helping the sick or the needy, or even teaching people to read!

And never, never, is there any pressure to participate in any function/event if you aren't up for it. We're all about peace, love, and goodwill! ;-)

What members are saying

This is my first experience volunteering, and I hope to work directly with the Meet up folks next time, not just at the same place.
